What makes bare Vitaderm different from other clean skincare brands?

bare Vitaderm is small-batch, intentionally formulated, and uncompromising about ingredients. We don't add preservatives unless safety requires it, we don't use fillers, and we don't hide behind vague "natural" claims. Every ingredient in every formula is there for a reason. You can read our full ingredient lists because we have nothing to hide.

What will I never find in a bare Vitaderm product?

Every bare Vitaderm product is paraben-free, preservative-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, cruelty-free, and free of synthetic fragrance, hormone disruptors, and artificial fillers. Wherever possible our products are also gluten-free, non-comedogenic, and made with certified organic botanicals. We believe what you leave out is just as important as what you put in.

What does anhydrous mean and why does it matter?

Anhydrous means water-free. Most conventional skincare is largely water — which requires preservatives and dilutes active ingredients. Our anhydrous formulas are concentrated and deliver nourishment directly to the skin. Less water. More of what your skin actually needs.

Are your products vegan?

Most are fully vegan. Our Pure Hydration Scrub and Travel Hydration Scrub contain honey and are not vegan. All bare Vitaderm products are cruelty-free.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin, allergies, or children?

Our formulas contain pure botanical oils, plant-based extracts, and natural essential oils — free of synthetic fragrance, parabens, and hormone disruptors. That said, individual sensitivities vary. Some formulas contain tree nut oils, honey, or components of natural essential oils such as bergamot. Always review the ingredient list on each product page. We recommend a patch test for anyone with known allergies, reactive skin, or for use on children — apply a small amount to the inside of the wrist or elbow, wait 24 hours, and proceed if no reaction occurs. Do your products expire?

Yes. Without synthetic preservatives our products have a shorter shelf life than conventional skincare. Each product includes a best by date. Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Refrigeration is one of the best ways to naturally extend the life and efficacy of your bare Vitaderm products.

Why are your bars heat sensitive and how should I store them?

Our bars are made with natural butters and waxes that soften in high temperatures. Store below 75°F away from direct sunlight. During warmer months we recommend expedited shipping to protect your order in transit.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We review all inquiries individually and will do our best to make it right.
